Of all the companies on the planet, Car manufacturer Hyundai just announced an Android tablet.
The Hyundai T7 Tablet is supposed to be an under-$200 budget slate but it actually has some decent specs for a 7 inch tablet. It uses the same Samsung Exynos 4412 chipset as the one that’s in the Galaxy S III, at 1.4Ghz, with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard memory with a microSD card slot, and a Mali-400MP4 GPU and also features a 7 inch 1280 x 800 IPS LCD screen, 2 Megapixel rear camera, and a microHDMI port. Powered by a 3300 mAh battery rated at just 5 hours of usage unfortunately.
All that while measuring 196 x 118 x 10.9mm, and weighing 303g. Only a Wifi-only version is available, but there’s a 3G dongle that you could use if you really need 3G. Runs Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich which is another bummer.
