Both Adrianna and George are consummate professionals, whose knowledge and expertise will enable Microsoft to continue to serve all customers and partners effectively.”
Adrianna Zammit joined Microsoft Malta in December 2010 as a Country Manager. She was also instrumental during the negotiations between Microsoft and the Maltese Government for the extension of the existing collaboration and related agreements, including the set up of the Microsoft Innovation Center. Prior to joining Microsoft, Adrianna worked in a similar role in sales management for Texas Instruments (HKI) in San Diego, California, USA, and began her career as an Electrical Engineer for Northrop Grumman Space Technologies.
Adrianna Zammit commented: “I am honored to have the opportunity to lead such a strong team in Malta and Cyprus. There is no other company that I would rather be a part of at this time. We have all the technologies, resources and passion to continue to drive value with our communities, customers and partners in both countries.”
Concurrently, George Petrakides will assume the role of Country Manager for Microsoft Cyprus, reporting to Adrianna Zammit. George has been with Microsoft for ten years and during the past five years he led the company’s EPG business in Cyprus. Prior to joining Microsoft, George worked for Kirkiles & Kotiadis, LLP in New York, USA. He has an MBA from the New York Institute of Technology, USA and holds a BA in economics from St. Francis College. He is a Board Member of the Cyprus Information Technology Enterprises Association and a member of various IT professional and Business organizations in Cyprus, representing Microsoft.
