Malta Election Results 2008

As previously posted, this was one of the most competitive elections I have lived through. PN have managed to obtain a very slim victory with embarassing 1580 votes more than their compeititon (MLP).

This slim victory was definately due to the thousands of PN supporters that diddnt feel like PN was doing a good job. Corruption was one of the key factors that almost made them lose the election. Pn should take this extremely seriously if they want to stand a chance of competing in the next election.

MLP leader had also handed in his resignation after the announcement of their loss in this election. Although I believe that Sant was a good, trust worthy and honest leader, he diddnt possess the charisma that Gonzi has on the people, and this is the most important characteristic to own in the political field. I just hope that MLP will make the right choice of leader this time.

WHO WANTS A PRIME MINISTER WHO BOASTS HE DOESNT OWN A MOBILE. PC OR TV IN 2008? WHO WANTS A PRIME MINISTER WHO OPTED TO FREEZE EU APPLICATION WHILST ACTING ON BEHALF OF MALTA? WHO WANTS A PRIME MINISTER WHO HAD WITHDRAWN A PARTNERSHIP FOR PEACE? WHO WANTS A PRIME MINISTER WHO IS OH SO WEIRD?
WELL THREE LOSSES WERE ENOUGH TO REALIZE NO?
